RICHMOND TETTEH vs. ERIC NANEWTOR

JUDGMENT The Plaintiff, Richmond Tetteh, caused a writ of summons to be issued out of the Registry this court for a declaration of title to a 0.23 acre parcel of land located at Amrahia in the Greater Accra Region, perpetual injunction to restrain the Defendant and his agents from interfering with the land in dispute and an order for removal of a two bedroom structure that has been put up by the Defendant on the land in dispute. The Defendant was served with the writ of summons and statement of claim by substituted service but failed to enter appearance or to file a defence to the action. The Plaintiff applied for and obtained judgment in default of appearance against the Defendant and proceeded to serve the Defendant with a witness statement by substituted service. The Defendant did not respond to any of the court processes that were served on him by substituted service.
