JUDGMENT The Plaintiff, William Quarcoopome Ashley, asserts that by a Leasehold Agreement dated 14th November 1997 and made between Col. John Tettehdoi Addy (Rtd) the Head of the Abola Piam (Tunma We) Family acting with the consent and concurrence of the Principal Elders of the said Family and the Plaintiff (therein referred to as the lessee) the land, subject matter of this dispute which has been described in the schedule of his Amended Statement of Claim, was leased to him for valuable consideration for a term of ninety-nine (99) years. He went into possession of the land by constructing a two bedroom self-contained house on it and erected a fence wall around it. He contends that the Defendant unlawfully entered his land and constructed a single room behind his building.
