Per his writ of summons issued on 25 February, 2014, the plaintiff seeks a declaration that the defendant failed to comply with their Collective Bargaining Agreement (C.B.A.) and therefore could not dismiss him; a declaration that his dismissal was unlawful, illegal, null and void and of no legal effect; an order for the payment of all salaries, emoluments, entitlements and benefits due him effective 9 December 2011; an order reinstating him, general damages for unlawful dismissal and punitive costs. After the pleadings and application for direction, the court ordered the parties to file their witness statements.
