Plaintiff, N. N. EST METALS COMPANY LTD, insured its property under an all-risk insurance policy with Defendant, HOLLARD INSURANCE CO. LTD, paying a premium for coverage from November 2014 to November 2015. Following the flooding in Accra on June 3, 2015, Plaintiff's insured properties were damaged. Plaintiff notified Defendant and submitted claims for indemnity based on the revised insured sum of Gh¢341,500. Defendant assessed the damage and offered Gh¢27,000, which Plaintiff rejected, alleging breach of contract and seeking full payment plus damages and interest.
