TANKO AMADU J.A (1) This appeal is from the judgment of the High Court, (Human Rights Division) Accra dated the 17th day of March 2016, wherein the Plaintiffs/Appellants’ claim against the Defendants/ Respondents was wholly dismissed as unmeritorious. (2) In the High Court, the Plaintiffs/Appellants (hereinafter referred to as “the Appellants”) took out a writ against the Defendants/ Respondents (hereinafter referred to as “the Respondents”) for the following reliefs:- “(i) A Declaration that each of the 88 Plaintiffs is entitled to be paid first earned benefits upon termination of appointment as is consistent within the conditions governing their employment as staff of the National Security Council. (ii) An order that the Defendants should pay the first earned benefits as staff of the National Security Council Secretariat upon their having been terminated as staff thereof”.
