HENRY A. KWOFIE (J.A): This present appeal has been launched by the Defendants/Appellants against the judgment of the High Court Accra (Land Division) delivered on the 10th of March 2017. The trial High Court in that judgment entered judgment in favour of the Plaintiff for all the reliefs endorsed on her writ of summons and dismissed the Defendants/Appellants counterclaim. Dissatisfied with the said judgment the Defendants/Appellants launched the instant appeal on 8th June 2017 on the following grounds: a) That the judgment is against the weight of evidence b) That the learned judge erred in law when she failed to hold that the Plaintiff acquired her land title certificate fraudulently c) Further grounds of appeal may be filed upon the receipt of the record of appeal. It is noted for the record that no additional ground of appeal was filed by the Defendants/Appellants. The relief sought from the Court of Appeal is that the said judgment of the trial court be set aside. ...
