ADJEI, J.A: The High Court (Labour Division), Accra on 14th July 2017 delivered its judgment dismissing the suit filed by the Plaintiff/ Appellant against the Defendant/Respondent. In this appeal, for easy referencing, the Plaintiff/Appellant shall be referred to as “the Plaintiff” and the Defendant/Respondent shall be referred to as “the Defendant”. In other words, the parties to the instant appeal shall retain their designations before the court below. The brief facts of the case are that the Plaintiff immediately before the termination of his employment was the Managing Director of the Defendant. The Plaintiff’s employment was terminated by the Defendant by a letter dated 1st June 2016. Upon the termination the Plaintiff was paid one month’s salary in lieu of notice, redundancy payment, outstanding leave, and relocation cost.
