Order 42 rule 2(3) of C.I 47 states, " Where the review sought is in respect of a final judgment, the Court may, at any time within three months after the judgment is entered, and on such terms as seen just, grant leave to apply for review" The defendant/applicant brings the present application under the above quoted rule of Order 42 and craves the indulgence of the Court to extend time for it to file an application for the review of this Court's judgment which was entered against the defendant on 31st July, 2019. The reason for the defendant’s request is that the Court erred in granting the commercial bank rate of interest as the rate of interest to be used in calculating interest on the sum due to the plaintiffs/respondents. The plaintiffs are opposed to the present application on the grounds that the defendant/applicant had offered no explanation for her failure to contest the application for judgment on the hearing of the said application and also that the present application .....
