The defendant/applicant is requesting this Court to order the plaintiffs/respondents to provide security for the defendant’s cost by paying into Court the sum of GH₵30,000.00 or by providing security in the form of a bank guarantee for the amount issued from a reputable bank in Ghana and that the said Security is to be provided within fourteen days from the date of the order, if indeed the Court so orders. In his supporting affidavit, the applicant’s reasons for his request are that the Plaintiffs/respondents are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (UK) and that they are suing the applicant through a lawful attorney whose address is not provided on the Writ and Statement of Claim. The applicant also says that the action of the plaintiffs/respondents is brought in bad faith.
