On the 29th day of October, 2013, the plaintiff issued a writ of summons against the defendant herein for the following reliefs: 1. Payment of a compensation of Gh₵50,000 to plaintiff by defendant for injuries plaintiff sustained whilst working as an employee of the defendant. 2. Payment of all medical expenses incurred by the plaintiff on his treatment so far and provision for future medical expenses as plaintiff injuries continue. 3. Cost including solicitors legal fees. THE PLAINTIFF’S CASE In his statement of claim the plaintiff said he was employed by the defendant company on the 19th of December 2011 as an electrician and that he also doubled as a machine operator for the company which is described in the statement of claim as a limited liability company doing business in the quarry sector with its offices located at the Shai Hills near Tema.
