Introduction: [A] The Action [1] Per a writ of summons sealed in this registry on May 19, 2016 the Plaintiff claimed against the Defendant, the recovery of:- a) The sum of GH¢102,730.63 being the amount owed for Private Security Services rendered; b) Interest on GH¢102,730.63 from August 31, 2015 till date of final payment. c) An order of the Court directed at the Defendant to provide the Plaintiff with withholding tax certificates. d) Costs The claim of the Plaintiff was met with a statement of defence by the Defendant in which the Plaintiff’s claim was vehemently denied. [B] Background & Brief Facts [2] The Plaintiff contends that following an agreement signed on April 22, 2004 and which went into effect on August 1, 2004 the Defendant entered into a Security Services Agreement with the Plaintiff for the provision of security services to the Defendant’s premises by the Plaintiff.
