By his amended writ of summons and amended statements of claim filed at the Registry of the High Court (General Jurisdiction Division) Accra, the Plaintiff’s claim against the defendants is for: a) Loss of income of Three Hundred and Sixty Thousand Ghana Cedis only (360,000.00) b) Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Forty Seven Ghana Cedis, Sixty Three Ghana Pesewas, being Cost of Medical expenses. c) Damages for pain and suffering and permanent deformity d) Cost. Per the records, the Defendants were served with the Writ and Statement of Claim but failed to enter appearance for which reason the Plaintiff/Applicant filed a motion for interlocutory judgment in default of appearance. Same application was taken on the 19th February, 2018 and granted on the same day. The court then ordered the plaintiff to prove damages on the reliefs sought.
