RULING i. Introduction [1] The facts of this case are free from complexity. By an Amended Writ of Summons filed on November 27, 2017 the Plaintiff seeks from this Court certain reliefs including an order for his reinstatement as a District Magistrate and payment of all accumulated salary including benefits. He is also seeking damages for emotional pain, trauma, embarrassment, stress, ridicule and shame. The Plaintiff started his evidence on May 20, 2019 and was extensively cross-examined by Counsel for the Defendant. On May 28, 2019 after the completion of the cross-examination, Counsel for the Plaintiff announced that it was the end of the Plaintiff’s case as he did not intend to call further evidence. [2] Unbeknown to the Court and Counsel for the Defendant, on May 20, 2019 at 2:30 P.M.
