PROSPER SOSOE (PLAINTIFF) vs. FIRST ATLANTIC BANK GHANA LIMITED (DEFENDANT)
This is an application for Interlocutory Injunction to restrain the Defendant, its Agents, Assigns, Servants and Associates from disclosing, informing, circulating or in any other way making it known to any other person that Plaintiff has been dismissed from his employment. I have read the application and the supporting affidavit. I have also read the affidavit in opposition. Regard has been given to the statement of case filed by both Counsel. I have also given my thoughtful consideration of Order 25 of C.I. 47 and the principles governing the grant or refusal of applications of this nature. I must say that I find the application quite strange. The fact is that the Plaintiff is in Court to challenge his dismissal by the Defendant on the grounds that the dismissal was unlawful and is seeking an order for compensation. If the fact of the dismissal does not exist, I do not think the Plaintiff would have brought the present suit. Furthermore, Court proceedings are held in public, ...
