ANCHOR INTERNATIONAL (PLAINTIFF) vs. SAMUEL GYIMAH (DEFENDANT)
The Plaintiff acting through its Lawful Attorney commenced this action with a Writ of Summons and asked for the following reliefs: 1. A declaration that the Defendant has breached the contract executed on the 10th November, 2015 between the Plaintiff as Seller and Defendant as Buyer. 2. An order directed at the Defendant for the immediate recovery by the Plaintiff of the amount of Thirty Four Thousand Nine Hundred United States Dollars (USD34,900.00) or its equivalent in Ghana Cedis being the total cost (total amount) of the goods supplied to the Defendant by the Plaintiff. 3. An order directed at the Defendant for the immediate recovery by the Plaintiff of an amount of Zero point one percent (0.1%) of Thirty Four Thousand Nine Hundred United States Dollars (USD34,900.00), that is, the total amount or its equivalent in cedis for each day of default by the Defendant to pay the Plaintiff the total amount as “lateness fee” from 1st October, 2015 till the date of final payment....
