THE REPUBLIC vs. NUMO KANOR BOYE (RESPONDENT) EX-PARTE: TEACHER LARYEA AND 14 OTHERS (APPLICANTS)

The Order of this Court on 15th of August, 2017 which has generated the present application states as follows: “The plaintiffs/applicants are at liberty to use the rooms in the family house. If the plaintiffs /applicants are not allowed to use the rooms, then that will constitute contempt. The same way plaintiffs/applicants cannot prevent the defendant/respondent from sprinkling kpepkle, the defendant also cannot prevent the plaintiffs/respondents from using the rooms in the family house. The order has been granted restraining all the parties from misconducting themselves”. A brief account of events leading to this application would certainly be necessary for a fuller appreciation of the issue raised in this case.
