POKU- ACHEAMPONG, JA This is an appeal on the adequacy of damages awarded the successful Plaintiff who was knocked down by a vehicle driven by the Defendant who the Trial Judge had adjudged to be negligent in operating his vehicle. FACTS OF THE CASE The Plaintiff /Appellant then a 24 year old unemployed university graduate resident at Sakaman, Dansoman was on 13th September 2014 knocked down by a vehicle driven by the 3rd Defendant while walking with her sister on the pedestrian walk way at the “Transformer” section of Banana Inn station, Abolo Junction, Dansoman. The vehicle a Nissan Versa Saloon Car with registration number GX 4175 -14 veered off the road and crashed into the Plaintiff/Appellant leaving her unconscious. The Plaintiff/Appellant was admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital with a fractured left thigh bone, fractured right jaw bone, and loss of incisor teeth.
