By the Amended Writ of Summons filed on the 12th April 2017, the Plaintiff in her capacity as the acting Head and Lawful representative of Nii Odoi Kwao Anyetei family of Abehenease sued the Defendants for declaration of title to a piece of land at Otwentale-Abehenease near Amasaman in Accra, the size of which is stated as 171.67 acres or 69.5 hectares; recovery of possession of the said land; general damages for trespass; perpetual injunction and any other reliefs as the Court may deem fit. Plaintiff claims that Abehenease lands are owned and occupied by seven families namely: Teiko Ansah family, her family Nii Odoi Kwao Anyetei family, Ama Asor family, Awo Obemah family, Nii Treku family, Agbetsi Lankwei family and Anetey Npa family. Plaintiff averred that Defendants who claim to belong to Nii Odoi Kwao Junior family of Abehenease do not own any lands at Abehenease at all and that there is indeed no such family existing, let alone owning land.
