NATHAN KUDJO AMOH AND FAUSTINA EDEM ADDO vs. LAWRENCE NAATEY TEKPER AND POWEL ABRAHAM ASIRIFI GOGO
Plaintiffs who are husband and wife claim to have purchased the disputed land situate, lying and being at Meledzor, Accra from Samuel Nai Donkor whom they claimed to be the head and lawful representative of Nii Marley family of Amrahia, Accra. The size of this disputed land Plaintiffs claimed to have bought was stated as 0.24 acre and the alleged acquisition took place in June 2010. Plaintiffs pleaded that upon the acquisition they exercised overt acts of possession by erecting corner pillars at the four corners of the land with 2nd Plaintiff’s name clearly embossed on the pillars. They also deposited sand with the intention to develop the land. Plaintiffs occasionally cleared the land of weeds and this situation continued from 2010 when the land was acquired till 2013 when 1st Defendant entered the land and removed the corner pillars amid resistance from Plaintiffs.
