On the 9th day of April 2019 Counsel for the parties argued a motion before me. Today, I proceed to give a ruling in the matter after carefully reading the arguments put forward by Counsel. I am of the opinion that since the lawyer for the 1st Defendant withdrew his services for the party, it is not given to the same lawyer to purport to represent the 1st Defendant for whom he had withdrawn his services. The application succeeds and the witness statement filed by the 1st Defendant on behalf of himself and the 3rd, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th is struck out accordingly. Suit to take its normal course. No order as to costs.
