On December 17, 2018, after a full trial had been conducted, this Court went ahead and entered judgment in favour of the Plaintiff in part, for the recovery of an amount of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢1,200,000.00) with interest thereon to be calculated on the said sum at the prevailing commercial bank rate from 3rd August till date of final payment; recovery of an amount of Eighty-two Thousand Two Hundred and Sixteen Ghana cedis (GH¢82,216.00); and interest thereon at the prevailing commercial bank rate from January 2013 till date of final payment. In respect of the Defendants, the Court also entered judgment in part on their counter claim, to wit, awarding the Defendants general damages in the sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢800,000.00) and special damages of One Hundred and Two Thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢102,000.00).
