AMY ADOTEY vs. MADAM ASHIOKOR NORTEY

On the 23rd day of July, 1999 the Plaintiff instituted the instant action for herself and also for the sister Ivy Adotey, in her capacity as a daughter and lawful co-administrix of the estate of her late mother, Elizabeth Fofo Mensah. It is the case of the Plaintiff that the land in question belongs to their late mother Fofo Mensah who acquired it per a Deed of Conveyance dated 26th June, 1972 and made between her as beneficiary of the one part and Kofi Noi Lartey (as vender) and Wilson Gbli Nartey (as purchaser) on two other part. And that on the advent of the Land Title Registration Law, she caused her deceased mother’s interest in the land to be registered as No. 7/14/105/1 and was issued a Land Title Certificate (No GA 10028) dated 18th January, 1994. It is also the case of the Plaintiff that the Defendant had trespassed upon and built an outhouse on a portion of the said plot of land and had for some time successfully used one Margaret Lartey who lives nearby the said plot of.....
