The brief facts of the case as captured by the Statement of Claim of the Plaintiff are that the Plaintiff is a Limited Liability Company registered under the laws of Ghana and is engaged in agro-business. The Defendant is a sole proprietor doing business under the name and style, Love of Christ Enterprise. The Plaintiff avers that it has been selling a thirty (30) day credit of agrochemicals and other agricultural products and equipment to the Defendant since 2013. That at 12th June, 2013, the outstanding indebtedness of the Defendant on goods sold to him on credit by the Plaintiff between 11th April, 2013 and 9th May, 2013 was GH¢15,090. The Plaintiff avers also that on 9th May, 2013, the Plaintiff sold on credit to the Defendant goods worth GH¢16,800. The Plaintiff avers further that between 15th July, 2013 and 14th April, 2014 the Plaintiff sold on credit to the Defendant variously goods to the value of GH¢45,368.
