On the 18th day of February, 2016 the Plaintiff instituted the present action against the Defendant. The case of the Plaintiff as captured by his Statement of Claim is that he is a Ghanaian resident in the United States of America and the Defendant is a resident of Accra. It is also the case of the Plaintiff that he is the son of the late Mrs. Cecilia Adade who died intestate and the sole beneficiary of the estate of the deceased. That the late Mrs. Cecilia Adade acquired a parcel of land which is described in the schedule below from Efe Quayson. Plaintiff says that Efe Quayson acquired the land by way of a lease from the Wofa Kweku Trebi Family of Mempehuasem, Accra in the Greater Accra Region by way of a lease dated September 1991.
