On 5th May 2015, the Plaintiff suing per her lawful attorney caused to be issued from the registry of this Court a writ of summons and Statement of Claim. The reliefs endorsed on the writ were: a. Refund of US$24,000 being rent arrears of US$1,500 a month from January 2014 to April 2015 or its equivalent in cedis being GH₵96,000 at US$1 – GH₵4.00. b. Interest on US$ 24,000 or its equivalent in cedis from 1st January 2014 till date of final payment at the current commercial interest rate. c. Mesne profits d. Recovery of possession of original property built by the Plaintiff herein and rented to Defendants on Plot 521, East Legon. e. An order that the property built by the Defendants on bare lands be valued and value paid to the Defendants by the Plaintiff. f. Cost.
