The Plaintiff family claims ownership of approximately 40.771 acres of land at Akporman near Abokobi, Greater Accra, tracing title to their ancestor Nii Abokobi Annan Okporkadzi, who was allegedly gifted the land by Nii Adusa Kwabla Ofori Dzato after curing his daughter. The Plaintiff alleges the Defendant and allied families fraudulently registered and trespassed on the land without consent. The Defendant denies Plaintiff's ownership, claiming ancestral possession of approximately 43.17 acres by the Ogbor and Konkpa allied families for over 250 years, and asserts lawful possession and counterclaims title to the land. The dispute involves allegations of forged documents, fraudulent registration, and conflicting claims of possession and ownership.

The record showed that on the 2nd day of December, 2014 Plaintiff by Solicitor took a Writ of Summons in this High Court and had same amended on the 26th day of April, 2016 and same extended on the 17th October, 2017. The Amended Writ of Summons (and Statement of Claim) has the following reliefs endorsed on it. 1. A declaration that the Plaintiffs are the bona fide owners of the disputed land situate at Akporman in the Greater Accra Region measuring an approximate area of 40.771 acres described in a Site Plan dated 6th July, 2011. 2. An order quashing the Defendant’s registration or plotting of the disputed land and for a further order compelling the Lands Commission acting by all their divisions to cancel and expunge the Defendant’s records from theirs forthwith. 3.
