Before me is a Motion on Notice to Set Aside the Judgment of this court entered on 23rd November, 2018 and the Entry of Judgment filed by the Plaintiff/Judgment Creditor on 5th December, 2018 pursuant to that Judgment. It is noted that the Judgment in question was obtained by the default of Defendant/Applicant herein to enter appearance in the suit. Upon consideration of the application of the Defendant/Applicant to set aside the above mentioned processes, the court deemed it to say that this was an issue bordering on reconciliation of accounts between the parties as the Defendant/Applicant was challenging, essentially, the quantum of the debt outstanding that was claimed by the Plaintiff/Respondent as endorsed on the Writ of Summons.
