EXFICON GMBH vs. ELECTRICITY COMPANY OF GHANA.
On December 18, 2018, after a full trial had been conducted, this Court went ahead and entered judgment in part for the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter referenced as “Plaintiff”). A copy of the said Judgment is attached to the affidavit of the Defendant/Applicant in support of the application and is marked as Exhibit “JD1”. It is noted that the Defendant/Applicant is hereafter in this Judgment referred to as the Defendant. In particular and for reasons that are not relevant to the application before the Court, the Court awarded the Plaintiff the lesser sum of seventy thousand euros (€70,000.00) in lieu of the sum claimed on its writ of summons and cost of thirty-five thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢35,000.00).
