(1) This appeal emanates from the ruling of the High Court, Agona Swedru dated 17th December, 2019 which dismissed the Appellant’s application for joinder as the 2nd Respondent in a divorce and matrimonial suit. (2) The facts antecedent to the ruling are as follows: On 26th day of April, 2019, the Petitioner/Respondent (hereinafter called “the Petitioner” filed a divorce petition before the High Court for the dissolution of the ordinance marriage celebrated between the Petitioner/Respondent and the Respondent (hereinafter called “the Respondent”) on 30th January, 2014. The Petitioner further claimed other ancillary reliefs made up of several immovable and movable properties acquired in the course of the marriage. (3) Upon service of the Petition on the Respondent, he on 29/04/2019 filed Notice of Appearance followed by the filing of an Answer to the Petition on 20/05/2019 in which the Respondent denied the claims of the Petitioner...
