CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION On 2nd June, 2020, Gloria Cudjoe (the Complainant), a trainee nurse lodged a complaint against Joshua Asalle (the Respondent), a matron at the Karle Bu Teaching Hospital. The Complainant alleged that The Respondent has refused to take his responsibility to feed, clothe and provide shelter for their child and her. COMPLAINANT POSITION In a written complaint submitted to the Commission (Folio 1), the Complainant alleged that she courted with the Respondent for three years and got married in 2019. She added that when she got pregnant, they agreed that she should relocate to her mother's residence for just a month after delivery. She agreed and stayed with her mother after delivery for more than a month. After one month, the Respondent refused to come and take her and the baby boy to his matrimonial home.
