PETER AGUYIRE vs. THE REPUBLIC

I have perused the application for bail filed as well as the affidavit in support and all the documents attached. I have also listened to Counsel. It is important to state that the AG’s office was served but they have failed to file any affidavit in response. In exercising my discretion in the matter I have considered all the facts surrounding the case as well as the charge levelled against the Accused/Applicant. In view of the delay I am inclined to admit accused person to bail on the following terms. He is admitted to bail in the sum of GH¢100,000.00 with three (3) sureties, one is to be justified.
