The plaintiff, on the 22nd day of March, 2019 sued the defendant for the following reliefs:- a) An order quashing the decision of the disciplinary committee dated 26th November, 2018 b) A declaration that the termination of the plaintiff’s appointment was unlawful c) Compensation for the unlawful termination of the plaintiff’s appointment d) Damages e) Cost. In an accompanying statement of claim the plaintiff said that he was originally employed by a Company by name Centenary Gold Ltd. on the 6th of February, 1999 as an environment and safety officer. Later in the year 2003 Centenary Gold Ltd. was acquired by a company called Normandy Gold Ghana Ltd. which company was subsequently acquired by the defendant herein and the plaintiff thereafter became an employee of the defendant.
