SAMUEL AHONOR (AN INFANT)vs. ROSE GEORGINA AHONOR AND 4 OTHERS
1. BRIEF FACTS The plaintiff was seventeen (17) years of age at the time he instituted this action through his next friend and guardian, one Celestine Ahonor who happens also to be his biological aunt (the sister of his deceased father, George Ahonor). The 1st to 4th defendants are the administrators of the Estate of the deceased George Ahonor. The 2nd defendant is the surviving spouse of the deceased Ahonor and the 1st, 3rd and 4th defendants are the sisters and cousin respectively of the deceased George Ahonor. The 5th and 6th defendants are tenants in one of the houses belonging to the deceased and which is located at Lartebiokorshie, Accra. At the time of his demise, George Ahonor was the owner of quite a number of landed properties in Accra. The 1st to 4th defendants were granted letters of administration (LA) by the High Court on the 27th day of July, 2011 and almost four years after the grant, the administrators decided to distribute the estate to its beneficiaries.
