THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR vs. DANIEL DUKU AND IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER DEFREEZING PROPERTIES OF APPLICANT HEREIN KWASI GYIMAH GENFI

A summary of the facts giving rise to this application is that the Respondent by letter dated April 12, 2019 issued an administrative order freezing the assets of Daniel Duku who is standing trial before the Criminal Division of the High Court for various offences. Subsequently on the 18/4/2019 Respondent brought a Motion Ex parte for an order for confirmation of the freezing of the accounts pursuant to section 33,34 and 35 of the EOCO Act ,Act 804 and for further Orders under Order 19 of CI 47. All this under the suit number of MSFT/29/2019. The subject of the application in MSFT/29/2019 were three (3) accounts held in the name of the Respondent(Daniel Duku) with CAL Bank. The motion was to be moved on the 30th April 2019.
