THE REPUBLIC vs. AARON KWESI KAITOO MECHANICAL LLOYD PLC

This is an application on notice brought for and on behalf of the Convict/Appellant Judgment Debtor/Applicant pursuant to section Order 19 of C.I. 47 and the Courts Act, 1993 (Act 459) as amended seeking an order for the suspension of the operation and execution of Order for restitution and Judgment of this Court dated the 31st of July, 2019 premised on the accompanying affidavit and for any further orders that this Court may deem fit. The antecedents of this case are that the Respondent was arraigned before this Court on a charge sheet filed on the 29th of July, 2014 with the following charges levelled against him; a) On counts One through to fifty-eight with Stealing contrary to section 124 (1) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960, (Act 29), and; b) On counts fifty-nine through to sixty-three with Money Laundering contrary to section 1 (1) of the Anti- Money Laundering Act, 2008 (Act 749).
