i. Introduction: [1] This Court on October 28, 2019 entered judgment in favour of the Plaintiff/Respondent against the Defendants/Applicants for the recovery of the amount of GH₵120,000 together with damages of GH₵75,000. The Court further awarded the Plaintiff cost GH¢25,000. 00. According to Counsel for the Applicants being aggrieved or dissatisfied with the Court judgment, the Applicants have filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal and are praying the Appellate Court to set aside the judgment and enter judgment in favour of the Applicants. [2] On February 19, 2020 the Applicants filed a Motion on Notice for Stay of Execution of the judgment of this Court. The application is supported with a 25 paragraphed affidavit of one Patrick Nakai-Nelson, a Principal Records Officer at the Legal Department of the 1st Applicant.
