RULING Procedural history By a writ of summons issued on 12th June 2019, the plaintiff claimed the following reliefs against the defendant: i. Recovery of an amount of £20,307.00 (Twenty Thousand Three Hundred and Seven Pounds Sterling) plaintiff paid to the defendant as consideration in respect of the 4-bedroom house to be delivered to plaintiff by the defendant under their agreement which defendant failed to do to date. ii. Interest thereon at the commercial bank rate of interest or the Government of Ghana Treasury Bill rate of interest from 20th February 2008 to the date of final payment. iii. In the alternative to relief (i) above, an order for specific performance compelling the defendants to fulfill their part of the bargain under the agreement. iv.
