JUDGEMENT MENSAH-HOMIAH, JA: This appeal is against the judgment of the High Court, Koforidua delivered on 27th June, 2019. The core issue raised for determination in this appeal revolves around the successorship, management and/or control to family properties which came into the possession of Plaintiff’s mother, Juliana Sarkodie Adade (decd.), when she succeeded her deceased sister. Mrs. Juliana Adade died on 9th November, 2011 in London, United Kingdom. She hailed from Akyem (Akim) Tafo. FACTS The factual background relevant to this appeal is this: By a Writ of Summons filed on 15th January, 2013, the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter referred to as Plaintiff), claimed against the Defendants/Appellants (hereinafter referred to as Defendants) as follows: a.
