CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION The Complainant (Dorcas Akua Baah) lodged a complaint against the Respondent (Paul Ntiamoah) at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (the Commission) on 5th May, 2020 alleging intestate. COMPLAINANT POSITION The Complainant had a daughter with the late Mr Ntiamoah who died intestate three (3) years ago. The Complainant's daughter was born out of wedlock fifteen years ago. The late Mr. Ntiamoah also had three children with his legally married wife and another child with another woman. The Respondent who is the “Abusuapanin" of the late Mr Ntiamoah led a delegation to name the Complainant's child and the Complainant's family was informed of Mr Ntiamoah's death as custom demands. The Complainant's daughter has not been maintained by the Respondent after the death of Mr Ntiamoah despites appeals made. The widow, Mrs Ntiamoah gave the Complainant's father a sum of GHC 1,000 about a year ago which she returned because of her knowledge .....
