CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (the Commission) received a complaint from Alberta Quaye (the Complainant) against Isaac Mofat (the Respondent) on 9th March, 2016 alleging non-maintenance of child. COMPLAINT POSITION The Complainant had a child with the Respondent. The Respondent has not been consistent in the maintenance of the child The Complainant pleaded with the Commission to impress upon the Respondent to assist her to maintain their child OBSERVATIONS Upon receipt of the Complaint, the Commission invited both parties to the office for mediation. On 29th April, 2016, both parties appeared before the Commission for mediation. At the end of the mediation, terms of settlement were reached (folio 2 referred).
