CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION The Complainant (Janet Obiriwaa) lodged a complaint against the Respondent (Stephen Asante) at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (the Commission) on 18th November, 2019) alleging non-payment of children's maintenance. COMPLAINTANT POSITION The Complainant had a relationship with the Respondent for twenty-five (25) years in which they had three (3) children. The Complainant has single-handedly taken care of the children for years now since the Respondent refused to support the children. The basic needs of the child are all borne by the Complainant. The Complainant pleaded with the Commission to impress upon the Respondent to maintain the children.
