CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION The Complainant (Kwabena Antwi) lodged a complaint against the Respondent (Ghana Police Service) at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (the Commission) on 13th August, 2013) alleging delay in dispensing justice. COMPLAINTANT POSITION The Complainant got injured due to a robbery that took place in his house. The case was reported to Adenta Police Station for assistance and he was given a medical report to the hospital. The Complainant later went to the Respondent to request a police report which he paid an amount of five cedis (GHC5) for and was given a receipt but the Complainant has not heard from the Respondent and tried following up but to no avail. The Complainant pleaded with the Commission to impress upon the Respondent to dispense justice.
