On 22nd June, 2021 this Court ordered the 1st Respondent/ Applicant (hereinafter called "Applicant") to produce for inspection and copying the Renunciation Certificate or any document evidencing renunciation of her Ivorian Citizenship within ten ( 10) days. This order was made following an application by the Petitioner /Respondent (hereinafter called "Respondent") in this parliamentary election petition. The petition is seeking to challenge the election of the Applicant as the Member of Parliament for the Jomoro Constituency on the ground that applicant was not qualified to contest the election as she held American and Ivorian citizenships in addition to her Ghanaian citizenship when she filed her nomination to contest the election.
