This ruling is in respect of a contempt application filed on behalf of the Applicant herein against the Respondents herein. The Applicant is praying this Honourable Court for an order for the committal of the bodies of the Respondents herein to prison on grounds of having brought down the reputation of the Honourable Court into disrepute. Background Facts The background facts leading to this application are that, Awiaso, a town in the Eastern Nzema District of the Western Region was elevated to Traditional Area (paramountcy) status in the year 2009 and its first Omanhene was Awulae Kaku Ackah II known in private life as Joseph Ackah. He was sworn as a member of the Western Region House of Chiefs and remained a member till his demise in October 2013.
