GHANA PRIVATE ROAD & TRANSPORT vs. NANA ASUMAH

The Plaintiff per its amended writ of summons filed on 5th February, 2020 prayed for the following reliefs against the Defendant: (a) A declaration that it is the legitimate allottee of all that parcel of land measuring an approximate area of 7.80 acres; at Block D section of Akonfere, the Plaintiff having obtained same for valuable consideration from the Bantama Stool of Kumasi. (b) Damages for Trespass. (c) An order for vacant possession of the said land. (d) An order for perpetual injunction. The original writ was filed on 1st April 2014. It was later amended on 5th February 2020. The Defendant resisted the action by filing statement of defence. At the close of pleadings, the following issues were set down for trial in the application for directions and in the additional issues.
