JUDGMENT The Petitioner/Applicant (hereafter called the Applicant) filed a petition for divorce and other ancillary reliefs against the 1st Respondent on the 9th March, 2021 at the Divorce and Matrimonial Court, Accra. The reliefs sought by the Applicant were the following; 1. That the marriage celebrated in fact between the parties be dissolved. 2. That the Respondent be ordered to pay the Petitioner a lump sum of Two Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 200,000.00) as financial compensation 3. That the following properties be settled in favour of the Petitioner a. the four bedroom house at Abese-Pokuase ( the Matrimonial home) b. Footings/foundation for four (4) shops c.
