JUDGMENT The Plaintiff on the 27th July, 2017 sued the Defendant for the following reliefs; (i) An order for the recovery of the sum of GH¢500,000.00 (less GH¢67,900.00) paid to the Defendant as purchase price of a 40 acre parcel of land situate at Lashibi. (ii) General damages for breach of contract (iii) Interest on the said sum at the prevailing bank interest rate from May 28, 2008 till date of final payment. (iv) Cost occasioned by this suit (v) Any further order(s) this Honourable Court may deem fit. The Plaintiff, an Educational lnstitution claimed it wanted to relocate the School and therefore entered into a land transaction with the Defendant the occupant of the Old Lashibi Stool. The Defendant was the vendor of the land and the Plaintiff the purchaser. The transaction involved the sale of a 40 acre land at Lashibi, Accra and the purchase price pegged at GH¢500,000.00.
