RULING Summary of plaintiff’s case By a writ of summons issued on 19th August 2020, the plaintiffs claimed the following reliefs against the defendants: i. Perpetual injunction restraining the defendants herein, their agents, assigns, servants, workers, independent contractors and any person(s) claiming through them from interfering in any manner [with] the land in dispute. ii. General damages. iii. Any other reliefs that may be just in the circumstances. iv. Cost inclusive of legal fees. In the title of the suit, the 1st plaintiff described himself as the regent and lawful representative of the Nii Odoi Atsem family of La and Okponglo and the 2nd defendant described himself as the lawful representative of the Nii Ako Toboase family of the Nii Odoi Atsem family of La and Okponglo. The said descriptions are repeated in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the statement of claim except that in the said paragraphs there was no reference to the Nii Odoi Atsem family. In paragraph 1 of th.....
