JUDGMENT Introduction The plaintiffs in this suit are a married couple and so are the defendants. They are all claiming ownership of the same parcel of land. While the plaintiffs’ title document describes the land as being at Asofan, the defendants’ documents describe the land as being at Amamole. All the parties trace their title to the Nii Abetia family of Asofan. While the plaintiff’s claim a direct grant from the said family in the year 2014, the defendants claim a derivative grant from the said family in the year 2016. A summary of the facts which underlie this suit are as follows: i. The plaintiffs were granted the land in dispute by the Nii Abetia family of Asofan, acting through Nii Abetia II in the year 2014. ii. The defendants were assigned the land in dispute by one Nana Yaa Konadu in the year 2016. iii.
