RULING This is an application for a restraining order against the 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th respondents, their privies and assigns from outdooring Kwadwo Asante @ Obrempon Gyempire Asante III on 12th June 2021 pursuant to section 1 of the Public Order Act, 1994 (Act 491). I wish to quote the relevant paragraphs as follows: 2. That in or about the year 2017 Obrempong Gyepire Agyekum II, the Chief of Akim Ayirebi died rendering the Akim Ayirebi Stool vacant. 3. That in or about May 2020, the lawyers of 1st respondent wrote requesting for police protection to install a new chief of Akim Ayirebi. 4. That during that same time one Abusuapain Kofi Kumi, Head of Bretuo No. 1 family of Akim Ayirebi also wrote to the District Chief Executive, Akyeaman District also requesting for police protection to install a rival chief at Akim Ayirebi on same date as that of the 1st respondent. 5.
